Moments Captured

For my photo sessions there is no set time limit, since it is difficult to determine when young children are involved!  I like to let the children be themselves and open up to me.  The pictures turn out great when a child isn't rushed or told to sit and smile 50 times!

With a newborn session please plan for a couple of hours.  At this stage they may need fed, changed or
comforted, and the session can be paused numerous times.  Please bring several outfits.  Also, if there are     any special props you would like in the photo (blanket, hat, toy, book, etc.) please bring those as well.  I am happy to do sessions on-location also; capturing the nursery, a special chair or bonding time with siblings can make precious pictures.

Children's pictures are fun if you bring a balloon, lollipop, or even a kitten or puppy.  Think of any kind of
prop that would look good in a picture and might keep a little one entertained!

For senior and engagement sessions I do not have a limit on clothing changes.  Bring what you want and we can
always go through and decide what's best for each location!  Girls, don't forget to bring your jewelry, make up and other necessities!

Clothing:  It's best to keep it simple.  Layers look great but no patterns on the clothing; stripes, dots, cartoons, etc.  Blue jeans and khakis are preferred.  Also, keep in mind the season during which the pictures are being taken.  Browns, reds and even oranges are great colors to wear for fall pictures.  White or pastels are good for spring/summer.

The number of photos taken differs with each shoot depending on how many people are being photographed,     the location and the occasion for the pictures.  I do not set a limit on how many pictures I take.
